Erik:
Rest day. We did laundry, went to
town and chilled. The town was pretty bustling and alive.

We got picked up at 630 sharp. We
drove about 45 minutes to get to chobe. We crossed the border and
boom! We were in the park. Not terrible at all. We didnt see lions,
but lots of other game (that quite frankly we had forgotten about).
It was great. Sable, Zebra, Impala, Zebra, Impala, Zebra, Water Buck,
Warthog, Hippo, Crocs, Giraffe, Whiteback Vultures and 1 elephant.
The game was so beautiful and elegant. My favorites were the Sable,
followed closely by the water buck.
The landscape was very green and
had some hills to it. Very pretty, and smells amazing. Lots of
baobabs.
We got dropped of at a lodge at
about 1, and it was raining pretty hard. I went to the restroom and
BAM! Ran into Leah from Peace Corp. She is traveling with her boy
friend Will. We hung out in the evening for a bit. Very fun couple to
hang out with. Will was in PC a number of years ago and told us some
funny stories from that time. Our camp site sucked, but the company
made up for it completely. It was very nice.
Sorry about no pictures, we it is waaaaay to slow a connection to upload any.
